MyOva: myo-inositol supplements for PCOS, fertility and hormonal health

MyOva is a UK brand that makes supplements and botanical teas for women's hormonal wellbeing. Much of the range is built around myo-inositol and is formulated with PCOS (which MyOva also calls PMOS) in mind, but it also covers preconception and pregnancy, menopause, sleep, hair, skin and nails, and male fertility. It suits women who already know they want an inositol supplement and would like to buy direct, and couples looking at fertility support together.

The site has plenty of plain-English guides on PCOS, ovulation and fertility, a health quiz to help you choose, and a subscription option. Standard UK delivery takes two to five working days, and Royal Mail next-day delivery is available for £6.30 if you need something quickly. MyOva also makes botanical teas, including Hormonal Balance, Fertility Support and Digestive Support blends, and there's a tea sample bundle if you'd like to try several. Supplements aren't a substitute for medical advice, so if you're managing PCOS or trying to conceive it's worth talking to your GP about what's right for you.

The flagship is Myoplus, which MyOva launched in the UK in 2016. A daily serving of four chewable tablets provides 4,000mg of myo-inositol with vitamin B6, folate and chromium, and it's £32.00. If you're planning a pregnancy, the Preconception supplement is an all-in-one myo-inositol and B6 complex at £36.00.

Newer to the range is the Magnesium Nightcap Chocolate Drink, which you can make as a hot chocolate or a chilled milkshake as part of a wind-down routine. The 30-serving pack is £36.00, and there's a smaller 5-serving size if you'd like to try it first.

• Take the quiz before your first order. It points you to the most relevant product and unlocks 20% off, which is useful if you only want one or two items.
• Check the delivery threshold. Standard UK delivery is £3.50 on smaller orders, so it can be worth adding a second item to get free shipping.
