Party Delights has been selling party supplies online since 2001, when it launched with just ten matching partyware ranges. It added fancy dress in 2009, became part of Party City in 2013 and has been part of Amscan International since 2020. Today the shop covers almost everything you'd need for a celebration: balloons, banners, bunting, tableware, piñatas, personalised decorations and costumes for adults, children and babies.

It suits anyone organising a birthday, baby shower, hen do or wedding, and it's a handy one-stop shop at this time of year, with a Christmas section that runs from decorations and lights to nativity costumes and elf accessories. Prices are in pounds, and orders ship from within the UK.

What's worth a look

Here are six picks from the Christmas decorations range, with prices as shown when we checked.

Several decorations were reduced when we looked. The Merry Christmas Mistletoe Wreath was £7.50, down from £14.99, and the 1.8m Pine Cones & Berries Foliage Garland was £11.50, down from £22.99, which would work on a mantelpiece or banister. For quick, cheap colour there's the battery-powered string of 50 warm white LED lights and a paper star that's 70cm across.

If your child has a part in the school nativity, the Christmas shop also has costumes for angels, kings, shepherds, sheep and camels, and the Camel child costume was reduced to £11.99 from £19.99. Elsewhere there are elf accessories, Christmas balloons and the usual party tableware for festive gatherings.

Outside the seasonal ranges, balloons are a big part of the shop, from foil numbers and script phrase balloons to helium canisters, and there is advice on choosing and inflating them. Party Delights was also the first party supplier to offer personalised banners, cards and confetti, which are still a good way to make a birthday or anniversary feel a bit more special.
