Pinko is an Italian women's fashion label from Fidenza, near Parma. It was founded in the 1980s by Pietro Negra and Cristina Rubini, and their daughters now work in the business too. It's known for confident, glamorous dressing and above all for the Love Bag, a structured shoulder bag fastened with the Love Birds buckle. The UK online store prices everything in pounds and delivers to UK addresses. It suits anyone after a statement bag or a smart dress with a bit of Italian polish.

As well as bags, the store sells dresses, tailoring, knitwear, jeans and outerwear, plus sneakers, boots, belts, purses and bag charms. There's a New In section, an occasion-wear edit and an office-looks edit if you're shopping for something specific.

What's worth a look

The Baby Love Bag Puff Maxi Quilt is £290. It's a small black lambskin bag with diagonal quilting and a thin chain strap, and it measures 19 by 14 cm. If you want something a little larger and more structured, the Small Love Bag One Chevron in white quilted nappa is £320.

For clothes, the slim-fit dress with Love Birds belt is a red, blazer-style midi coat dress at £385. The Love Birds motif turns up on its matching belt buckle. For something more casual, Pinko's double-lace sneakers cost £220.

The Love Bags collection is big, with well over a hundred versions. It runs from the Baby size up through Small and larger shapes, in smooth leather, quilted Puff and chevron finishes and a range of colours. Each product page gives exact measurements, so it's worth comparing a couple of sizes before you choose. The pink Small Love Bag One, for example, measures 21 by 13 cm and has both a chain strap and a leather strap.
