WeCreat makes enclosed desktop laser engravers and cutters for home crafters, makers and small businesses selling personalised gifts. The brand was founded by William Tang, who previously ran R&D and quality at Anker, and it has a dedicated UK store at uk.wecreat.com with prices in pounds, VAT included, free UK delivery and returns to a UK address in Blackpool.

If you've been eyeing up a laser for engraving chopping boards, coasters, leather, acrylic signs or tumblers, WeCreat's pitch is that it takes the fiddliness out. The machines are fully enclosed with a built-in camera, so you can line up your design on screen, and they work with WeCreat's own MakeIt software as well as LightBurn.

Buying from the UK store matters for a machine this size. Prices include VAT, there are no import charges to worry about, and if something goes wrong the returns address is in Blackpool rather than overseas. Undamaged products can go back within 30 days for any reason, and the lasers, fume extractors, feeder and laser modules carry a one-year warranty, while smaller accessories are covered for 30 days.

What's worth a look

Here are the two lasers in the UK range and four of the add-ons that make them more useful.
