co:sim is a travel eSIM service run by Comsand Inc., a company registered in Wilmington, Delaware. It launched in 2024, and its team describes itself as digital nomads who built the service after too many roaming bills and airport SIM queues. By 2026 it covered more than 200 destinations and its website was available in eight languages.
The main product is Data Only plans: fixed data packages for a single country or a region such as Europe (33 countries), Asia, North America or a global plan covering nearly 200 areas. You buy online, scan a QR code to install the eSIM on a compatible unlocked phone, and most plans start when you first connect at your destination. Plans are data only, so calls and texts go through apps like WhatsApp, and most allow hotspot sharing. A pay-as-you-go ONE card and an invite-only annual Challenge Card are announced but not yet on sale.
Prices are shown in US dollars and payments go through Stripe, with cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other wallets accepted. New customers can claim a free 1GB, 7-day eSIM for Europe. Unused eSIMs can be refunded within 30 days of purchase through a self-service option, but once an eSIM is installed it isn't refundable unless there's a technical fault on co:sim's side.
