About Giuseppe Zanotti
Giuseppe Zanotti is an Italian luxury footwear and fashion label founded in 1994 in San Mauro Pascoli, a town near Rimini with a long shoemaking tradition. The designer took over a local shoe factory and made his name with sculptural, jewelled heels; the company later added luxury sneakers in 2010, followed by jewellery, bags and leather ready-to-wear. The business is run by Giuseppe Zanotti S.p.A., whose registered office is in San Mauro Pascoli, and the designer still leads its creative direction.
The women's range covers pumps, sandals, mules, flats, boots and ankle boots, plus clutches, shoulder bags and some clothing. Signature details include crystal and rhinestone embellishment and metal hardware, as in the salamander-tail heels and toe caps of the Salamander line. The men's side has sneakers, lace-ups, loafers, monk straps and ankle boots. Prices are firmly in luxury territory, with most shoes running into the high hundreds or more of pounds.
The brand's own boutiques are in cities such as Milan, Rome, Paris and Dubai, but none is listed in the UK, so UK shoppers buy through the dedicated UK website, which shows prices in pounds. The site advertises free shipping and returns, free gift wrapping and next-day delivery on orders placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday.
