The Liverpool Pass is a digital sightseeing pass for visitors to Liverpool. It is run by Spoonful Marketing Ltd, a company based on Rodney Street in Liverpool city centre. You buy the pass online, get a QR code by email and use it to get into six attractions: The Beatles Story at the Royal Albert Dock, the British Music Experience in the Cunard Building, Strawberry Field, the LFC Museum and Boom Room exhibition at Anfield, a Mersey Ferries River Explorer Cruise and the City Explorer hop-on hop-off bus.
There are two versions, a 24-hour pass and a 48-hour pass. The clock starts when the pass is first scanned at an attraction, not when you buy it, so you can buy before your trip. You can visit each attraction once, in any order. The pass also unlocks discounts at partner restaurants, bars and shops around the city, such as 20% off food at The Long Shot on the Royal Albert Dock and 15% off merchandise at the Tourist Information Centre.
The pass saves money if you fit most of the attractions in. The operator says a 1-day pass used at all six saves around £30 per adult compared with separate tickets, but visiting only two or three may save little or nothing. Prices are in pounds, and there are no concession rates for students or seniors.
