National Warranties sells extended warranties for used vehicles. It is a trading name of National Warranties Ltd, a company registered in Lutterworth, Leicestershire in March 2026, and its contact page gives an office at Heather, near Coalville. It deals both with individual drivers and with car dealers, who can offer its cover with the vehicles they sell.
Cover is available for cars and vans, motorcycles, motorhomes and caravans, with aggregate plans that carry a total claims limit and a lifetime ownership option. Plans list covered parts such as the engine, gearbox, electrics, air conditioning and turbochargers, and include 24-hour UK breakdown recovery to an approved repairer within 40 miles. Its newer Flexi-Term plan is a monthly subscription you can cancel at any time, with four levels from Basic to Elite.
Quotes are given online from your registration number. As with any warranty, cover depends on the plan's terms, claim limits and labour rates, and pre-existing faults are excluded. The website doesn't state whether the company is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, so read the policy booklet before buying.
