About Team Cycles
Team Cycles is an independent bike shop in the North East of England. It opened its first store on the Team Valley Trading Estate in Gateshead in 2013 and also runs a hire centre at Kielder Forest with hire bikes, e-bike demos and workshop support.
The online shop covers road, mountain, gravel and cyclocross, hybrid, electric, triathlon and kids' bikes, plus ex-hire bikes and indoor trainers. Bike brands include Trek, Cube, Amflow, Tenways and Ridgeback, and there's clothing from Rapha, Fox and Madison, helmets from POC and ABUS, components from Shimano and SRAM, Garmin computers, workshop tools and outdoor kit such as Thule racks and TentBox roof tents.
It suits riders anywhere in the UK, as well as locals who want a fitting or a service. Delivery is UK-only, mainly by DPD, and standard delivery is free over £150. You can also click and collect from Gateshead. Bigger purchases can be spread with finance (Team Cycles acts as a credit broker for Mitsubishi HC Capital UK) or bought through Cyclescheme and other cycle to work schemes.
