Fitness apps tend to fall into two camps. Some are mostly about workouts: classes, trainers and programmes you follow at home or in the gym. Others are mostly about food: tracking what you eat, setting targets and getting support to stick with it. Team RH sits firmly in the second camp, with workouts included as an extra, and it sells its own scales, walking pads, protein and supplements alongside the app.
We've compared the Team RH app with three of the best-known fitness apps in the UK, Fiit, the Peloton App and LES MILLS+, on price, what's included and the equipment each sells. Every detail comes from each company's own website, and prices were checked on 27 October 2026.
At a glance
- Annual price: £79.99 upfront for 12 months of Team RH, or £8.99 a month over a 12-month contract.
- Built around food tracking: a UK verified food database, a barcode scanner, a personalised plan and in-app coach support.
- Workouts included: optional home and gym workout programmes come with the membership.
- Its own kit: a walking pad from £134.99, body scales and food scales, with free standard delivery on orders over £40.
- The catch: it's a 12-month minimum contract, where Fiit and Peloton offer monthly plans and free tiers.

Food tracking and coaching, not just classes
Team RH's big difference is what the app is for. Its pricing page lists a calorie counting app, a UK verified food database, a barcode scanner, a personalised plan, in-app coach support, a members' support group, a recipe section and workout programmes. You choose from three plans in the app: a calorie deficit plan, a maintenance plan and a plan for members taking GLP-1 medication. You then set an activity level, and the app gives you calorie and nutrition targets plus a step goal you can change.
Team RH says it doesn't ban any foods, and its recipe section is aimed at meals the whole family can eat. It says it has more than 500,000 members.
Fiit, Peloton and LES MILLS+ are built around workouts. Fiit Unlimited does come with a subscription to the Lifesum nutrition app, so you can track food there, but it's a separate app. The Peloton App page and the LES MILLS+ page don't mention food tracking.
One of the lowest yearly prices
At £79.99 for 12 months, Team RH costs the same as Fiit Essential and less than Fiit Unlimited (£119.99), Peloton App One (£129) or Peloton App+ (£289). By our own sums, £79.99 works out at about £6.67 a month.
Paying monthly instead costs £8.99 a month for 12 months, which by our sums is £107.88 over the year, so the upfront annual plan saves £27.89.
Equipment at sensible prices
Team RH sells the kit that goes with its plans. Its walking pad starts at £134.99, comes in Compact and Plus sizes, runs from 0 to 6km/h and takes users up to 150kg. Body weighing scales are £19.99 (down from £29.99), food weighing scales are £12.99, and the Scale Bundle is currently £24.99, down from £42.98. New members can get the Scale bundle for £19.99.
Standard delivery is free on orders over £40 to mainland UK, after any discounts. Below that, the walking pad page lists standard delivery at £2.99, express at £3.99 and next working day at £4.99. Orders placed before 3pm on a working day are sent the same day.
Peloton also sells its own bikes and treadmills, but the app works without them for most workouts. Fiit sells its own Fiit Tracker, and Les Mills sells workout equipment bundles through its shop.
Where the others have the edge
- Flexibility: Fiit and Peloton offer monthly plans and free tiers. Team RH's monthly option is a 12-month contract, and leaving early can mean an early termination charge.
- Free trials: Fiit, Peloton (30 days) and LES MILLS+ all offer free trials. At Team RH, ticking the box for immediate access to the app means giving up the usual 14-day cancellation right.
- Workout depth: Fiit has 2,000+ classes and 40+ training plans, and LES MILLS+ has 2,500+ workouts. If classes are your priority, they offer far more.
- Easier returns on kit: Team RH asks you to pay return postage on unwanted merchandise, and after 14 days (up to 28) you get a credit note rather than a refund.
Which should you choose?
Team RH suits people who want help with what they eat, a UK food database, coach support and a members' group, with workouts as a bonus, and who are happy to commit for a year.
Fiit suits anyone who wants lots of structured classes, with the option of a free tier or a monthly plan.
Peloton App suits people who use a bike, treadmill or rower and want classes for it, or who already like Peloton's instructors.
LES MILLS+ suits fans of Les Mills gym classes who want them at home.
FAQs
