Bazaar London sells furniture that started life in some very smart London homes. It's part of the Accouter Group of Companies, an interior design collective that calls itself Britain's first B Corp certified one, and many of its pieces were first drawn up by the group's studios for specific projects. Now anyone can order them, made to order in England by local craftspeople.

The names tell you where the designs came from. The Hertford Street sofa and bed were created by A.LONDON for the 36 & 37 Hertford Street residences in Mayfair, while the Nelson stool and the Whitehall dining chair are linked to Accouter's work on The OWO residences. There are also beds sold with a Savoir mattress, benches, cabinets, a folding screen and embroidered Egyptian cotton bed linen.

This is high-end furniture with prices to match. It suits people furnishing a special room, interior designers sourcing for clients (there's a trade account) and anyone who wants a piece made to their own spec. Fabrics, colours, finishes and dimensions can all be changed, and the team will source a fabric you've found elsewhere.

What's worth a look

A mix of the big statement pieces and a couple of smaller ways into the range.

If you want a taste of the look without a five-figure bill, the Pink Scallop Embroidered Pillowcase Set is £210, in 210 thread count Egyptian cotton with over 100 thread colours to choose from for the embroidery. At the other end, the Mayfair Sofa at £13,250 was designed for a pied-à-terre on Hertford Street and takes about 10 to 12 weeks to make.

Several beds also come with a Savoir mattress, including the Hertford Street, Bozier, Haley and O'Halloran designs. Every product page shows a lead time: around 6 to 8 weeks for the Hertford Street Bed, 10 to 12 weeks for most upholstered pieces and 5 to 6 weeks for bed linen. The clock starts once you've paid, and holiday periods can add more time.
