Dotty Fish is a family-run British business from Fleet in Hampshire that has been making shoes for little feet since 2006. Founder Helen Chapman started it after her son was given a beautiful but pricey pair of baby shoes and she couldn't find anything similar at a sensible price. Today the shop sells soft leather shoes, suede slippers, cotton booties, bibs and ready-made gift sets for babies and toddlers, with most shoes priced from £14.99.

It suits parents looking for light, flexible shoes for crawling and first steps, and anyone buying for a new baby, a baby shower or a first Christmas. The soft sole shoes follow barefoot principles, with a wide toe shape and suede soles for grip on indoor floors, and the brand says they have been tested and approved by The London Podiatry Centre.
