iLapothecary is a small London brand making natural skincare, body care and home fragrance. It was started by Denise, a nurse who spent thirty years in wellness before creating her own formulas, and it has been made in the UK since 2018. The flagship store is on Kensington Church Street, where you can also book treatments, and the range is stocked by the likes of Sephora UK, Cult Beauty, Net-A-Porter and Fortnum & Mason.

It suits anyone who likes aromatherapy-led products with a strong scent story: balms, body oils and bath soaks for an evening wind-down, and room sprays and diffusers for the home. Prices sit at the premium end, so it's also a good place to look for a gift for someone who already has the basics.

What's worth a look

The Beat The Blues line is the brand's best-known range, and the Beat The Blues Room Spray is the easiest way in: a 50ml waterless spray blending clary sage, rose geranium, tuberose and petitgrain. If you like it, the same scent comes as reeds for a diffuser, a candle, a shower and bath oil and an eau de parfum. For the bath, the Magnesium & Amethyst Deep Relax Bath Soak comes in a 400g jar, with a refill pouch for £49 once you've finished it.

On the skincare side, Supreme Silk Face Cream is a 50ml day and night cream, and the Express Lip Balm at £22 is the cheapest of the full-size products here.

If you're in London, the Kensington Church Street store is open from 11am to 6pm every day, so you can smell the range before you buy, and it also offers bookable treatments such as a Beat Blues back massage and a digital detox session.
