Jessica Russell Flint, or JRF for short, is a British fashion label that prints its own illustrations onto silk. Every design starts life as a hand drawing, and the finished prints are bright, playful and full of little stories: lobsters and shells for The Hamptons, neon wedding chapels for Meet Me in Vegas, cheetahs and flamingos elsewhere. The shop is run from south London, and you'll also find JRF in independent boutiques from Kensington to Inverness.

It suits anyone who wants clothes and nightwear that feel a bit special, and it's a good hunting ground for presents. The clothing sits at the luxury end, with silk shirt dresses in the hundreds of pounds, but the accessories make the prints much more affordable. A contour silk eye mask or a silk pillowcase is an easy way in, and the gift sets come boxed and ready to give.

What's worth a look

For gifting, the Silk Sleep Set in The Hamptons print pairs a mulberry silk pillowcase with a matching eye mask in a JRF gift box for £90, which the shop says would cost £107 bought separately. The new contour silk eye masks are worth a look too. They have thicker padding and a sculpted shape that sits away from the eyes, so they don't press on your lashes. If you're after a statement piece, the maxi shirt dresses have a shirt collar, button-through bodice and a tiered skirt, and the Kasbah Lagoon print is one of the newest.
