Lock Fitter is a locksmith business from Sutton-in-Ashfield in Nottinghamshire, set up in 2016. Its online shop sells to homeowners across the UK and sticks to one job: making doors and windows harder to break into. Rather than a general hardware range, you'll find anti-snap euro cylinders, security handles, smart locks and door furniture, mostly from Ultion and LockLock.

It suits anyone replacing a worn or basic euro cylinder on a uPVC or composite door, anyone who has lost a key and needs a genuine replacement, and landlords or families who want several doors on one key. The FAQs say most people can fit a new cylinder or handle themselves in 10 to 15 minutes with a screwdriver, and the team will talk you through it if needed.

What's worth a look

Here are six products from the main Ultion range, with prices as shown on the site.

The headline product is the Ultion ALPS 3 Star PLUS Cylinder Lock. It's rated Sold Secure Diamond, protects against picking, bumping, drilling, snapping and twist attacks, and comes with Ultion's £5,000 guarantee once you register it online. Order more than one and you can have them keyed alike, so one key opens every door.

Lost a key? Lock Fitter is a licensed Ultion key centre, so the Ultion Keys it cuts are genuine and keep the guarantee intact, unlike cheap copies. For a step up, the Ultion Nuki is a smart lock with a built-in Wi-Fi bridge that lets you lock and unlock from your phone, and the Ultion Padlock and Rim Cylinder can be made to work with the same Ultion key as your front door.

There's matching door furniture too, such as the Ultion Sweet letterplate, knockers and handles in finishes including chrome, black, anthracite and rose gold, plus window handles and Warmcore bifold door handles. Orders usually leave the same or next working day, and the FAQs put UK delivery at one to three working days.

Current offers

We don't have any Lock Fitter codes yet, but there are several offers on the site. Delivery is free on UK orders over £150. Free key caps are added automatically with qualifying ALPS 3 Star lock orders and with Ultion keys. Buying two or more keys saves £2.50 per key, and keying several Ultion 3 Star PLUS locks alike is free on multiple-lock orders.

How to save more

• Do all your doors in one order: you get free keyed alike, and a few cylinders and handles soon pass the £150 free delivery threshold.
• Buy spare keys in one go, as the per-key price drops when you buy two or more.
• Measure your old cylinder carefully before ordering: locks pinned to your key code and cut keys can't be refunded.
