mindly.dk is a Danish online shop for personal development audiobooks, e-books, videos and self-study courses. It has been going since 2007 and is run by Info Products I/S in Odense, the same company behind the German sister site justmind.de. Much of the catalogue is by hypnotist and NLP trainer Malte Lange, alongside other authors such as Nina Ekman of MindfulHouse.

Everything is in Danish, so it's really for Danish speakers, including Danes living in the UK, or anyone buying for Danish-speaking friends and family. Topics run from meditation and mindfulness, yoga and tai chi to study skills, communication and coaching, and there are Minimotion play videos for parents of babies. These are self-help products rather than medical treatment.

Downloads are ready as soon as you've paid and play in the shop's free app, so delivery from Denmark isn't an issue for digital titles. Prices are in Danish kroner, so your bank may add a foreign transaction fee when you pay by card.

Each product page shows the format (audiobook, e-book, video or course), the author, the language and, for many titles, customer reviews. Physical items are sent from Denmark with carriers such as GLS, Bring and PostNord, and can be returned within 14 days, but most people buy the digital versions. There's no subscription: you pay once for each title and keep it. Support is by email, and the help pages answer most questions about downloads and the app.

What's worth a look

Six titles and courses, with prices as shown on the site.

The best value is in the bundles. Meditationspakken was showing at kr. 297 instead of kr. 995, and Nina Ekman's four-audiobook mindfulness set at kr. 349 instead of kr. 596. If you'd rather try one recording first, her single mindfulness meditation is kr. 199.

For something more structured, the six-week coaching course is kr. 1,497, and the NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner training is the shop's biggest purchase at kr. 9,343, reduced from kr. 10,992. For new parents, the Minimotion set of 24 play videos for babies up to 12 months is kr. 349.

Current offers

• Meditationspakken: kr. 297, down from kr. 995.
• Coaching Kursus (6 uger): kr. 1,497, down from kr. 1,997.
• The Aktuelle tilbud page lists many more bundles at reduced prices.
• Titles marked with the money-back satisfaction guarantee can be refunded if you're not happy.

How to save more

• Check Aktuelle tilbud before buying single titles, as many recordings also appear in cheaper bundles.
• Look for the satisfaction guarantee on a product page if you'd like the option of a refund.
• Pick downloads over physical copies: they arrive instantly and avoid postage from Denmark.
• If you're weighing up a course, compare it with the bundles first: a single audiobook bundle costs a fraction of the coaching or NLP courses and is an easy way to see whether the style suits you.
