Skindays is a London-based online shop for skincare, haircare, bodycare and wellness, set up in 2022 by Diana Stenbolt and Gemma Estrela, who met while working at Farfetch. Rather than stocking everything, it hand-picks its brands, and it now carries more than sixty of them, from skincare names such as Verso, Oskia and Votary to a dedicated K-beauty edit with Anua, Beauty of Joseon, Cosrx and Torriden.

It suits anyone who finds big beauty sites overwhelming and wants a shorter, more considered list to choose from. You can shop by skin type, by concern, by ingredient or by routine, and there's a holistic section with aromatherapy, tools and light-therapy devices. Prices are in pounds for UK shoppers, and the shop also delivers across Europe.

What's worth a look

The Verso Daily Glow Cream is one of several Verso products currently marked down by 25%, and it's a tinted moisturiser, so it can take the place of a light base on busy mornings. At the other end of the price scale, the HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask is a hands-free LED mask for people who'd rather do their light sessions at home. Skindays also sells a few things under its own name, including The Lifter, a stainless steel gua sha for facial massage.

For Christmas, the shop has a holiday gift shop with ready-made sets, each packed with a free piece of Skindays merchandise such as a tote bag or gua sha, plus gift edits sorted by price, from under £30 to luxury.

• Be sure before you buy anything on sale. Skindays doesn't accept returns on sale or discounted items unless they're faulty, and opened skincare can't go back either.
