About Sweet Zer0
Sweet Zer0 is a small Welsh online sweet shop. Brother and sister Amelia and Elliott Dodd founded it in August 2022. It grew out of a school summer-holiday project on the environmental impact of everyday products and their packaging, and was inspired by Zero Waste Torfaen. The business says it has been Net Zero since it started.
It sells only vegan pick 'n' mix, sourced from suppliers across the UK. There are three mixes, fizzy, non-fizzy and mixed, sold in 1kg bags (850 to 900g of sweets) for £9.99 or 150g party favour bags for £4.50. Each favour bag carries an 8cm by 6cm label that you design yourself. All the sweets are dairy and alcohol free and suitable for vegetarians and halal diets. They contain no nuts, but nuts are handled where they are packed.
Sweets are sealed in home-compostable bags and posted in compostable packaging with recycled-paper stickers. Every order pays for a tree planted by the charity partner more:trees, towards a 1,000-tree forest. Postage is £3.50 for one bag, £5 for two and £7.50 for three or more, or you can choose free collection at checkout. You can check out as a guest.
