Sending flowers usually comes down to three questions: how much will it cost, will it arrive on the right day, and will it still look good at the end of the week? We've compared eFlorist with three of the UK's best-known flower delivery services, Interflora, Bunches and M&S, on price, delivery cut-offs, guarantees and the small print. Every detail comes from each retailer's own website, and prices were checked on 27 October 2026. You'll find every current offer on our eFlorist voucher codes page.
eFlorist isn't a newcomer. It started life in 1947 as the British Teleflower Service, became Teleflorist in 1978 and has been part of the Euroflorist group since 2010. Today it works with more than 1,500 independent florists across the UK.
At a glance
- Lowest starting prices of the four: eFlorist bouquets start at £12.99, against £21.85 at Bunches and £25 at both Interflora and M&S.
- Two ways to send: florist-made bouquets delivered by hand, or courier bouquets sent in bud.
- Late ordering: order by 9pm for next-day delivery, seven days a week.
- Price Match Promise: a £5 credit if you find the same bouquet cheaper elsewhere.
- Where others win: M&S includes free next-day delivery, and Interflora takes next-day orders until midnight.

Prices that start lower
eFlorist's biggest strength is the entry price. Its flowers under £30 range includes Blushing Daisies from £12.99, English Country at £14.99 and Rose Garden from £16.99 (down from £26.99). For something seasonal, Autumn Hedgerow is from £21.99 (was £36.99) and Shades of Autumn from £23.99 (was £38.99).
By comparison, the cheapest bouquet we found at Bunches was the Autumn Warmth Letterbox at £21.85, with its cheapest standard bouquet, Amethyst Dream, at £25.95. Interflora's best-value flowers start from £25, and the cheapest M&S next-day bouquets are £25.
Many eFlorist bouquets come in Standard, Medium and Large sizes too. Golden Meadow, for example, is £39.99, £44.99 or £54.99, so you can choose how much to spend on the same design.
Florist-made or sent in bud
eFlorist offers two kinds of bouquet. Florist bouquets are hand-crafted by a local florist and personally delivered to the door, which is how its same-day service works. Courier bouquets are sent straight from the growers in an eFlorist box, with the petals still closed, and usually open within 48 to 72 hours of arriving.
That choice is useful. A florist-made bouquet looks its best on the day, which suits birthdays and anniversaries. A courier bouquet in bud is cheaper and lasts longer once it opens. Interflora offers both too, while Bunches sends its flowers by Royal Mail or courier.
A price match you won't find at the others
Under eFlorist's Price Match Promise, if you find the same bouquet cheaper from another UK florist, you get a £5 credit towards your next order. The details matter:
- The other florist must be UK-based and VAT-registered.
- Delivery is included in the comparison, and the bouquet must be deliverable to the same postcode on the same date.
- Claims must be made within 24 hours of buying, using the customer service form with a link or screenshot.
- Vouchers, promotions, subscriptions and clearance items don't count, and the credit code must be used within 24 hours of approval.
None of Interflora, Bunches or M&S mentions a price match on the pages we checked.
Freshness, chocolates and late orders
eFlorist gives a 7-day freshness guarantee on both florist and courier bouquets, as long as you follow the care instructions. Interflora and Bunches offer 7 days too. We couldn't find a set number of days on the M&S pages we checked, though it does send many stems in bud.
Selected eFlorist bouquets also come with a free box of chocolates, so a gift can arrive in one parcel. And a 9pm next-day cut-off, seven days a week, gives you more time than Bunches (5:15pm on weekdays, 10:45am at weekends) or M&S (7pm).
Where the others have the edge
- Free delivery at M&S: M&S includes free next-day delivery when you order by 7pm (not to Northern Ireland). On the eFlorist pages we checked, the delivery charge wasn't shown until checkout.
- Later orders and fast delivery at Interflora: Interflora takes next-day orders until midnight, and its Florist Express service (£15) delivers within 3 hours of ordering.
- A delivery pass: Interflora's £12 Gold Delivery Pass gives a year of unlimited next-day delivery, which pays off if you send flowers often.
- Sending abroad: Interflora delivers to over 130 countries, for £12.
Which should you choose?
eFlorist suits anyone who wants a good-looking bouquet without spending £25 or more, likes the choice between florist-made and in-bud flowers, or wants a price match. Interflora is a strong pick for last-minute orders, international delivery and frequent senders who'd use a Delivery Pass. M&S is good value if you want delivery included in the price, and Bunches suits letterbox flowers and gifts sent by Royal Mail.
