Colorland: photo books, calendars and prints made from your phone photos

Colorland is a photo printing service run by MPP sp. z o.o. in Poland, with a UK shop that prices everything in pounds and ships here by FedEx, UPS, Royal Mail or Evri. You upload your pictures to its browser editor or the ColorlandGO app and turn them into photo books, prints, calendars, canvases and small gifts. It's handy if you've got years of photos stuck on your phone, or if you want a personal present for grandparents.

Photo books are the main range, from hardcover and layflat books to the glossy Starbook and A5 softcovers. Most products come with ready-made templates for birthdays, weddings, holidays and family albums, so you don't have to design every page from scratch.

You need an account to order, and it's shared between the website and the app, so you can start a book on your phone and finish it on a laptop. Production takes between 1 and 4 working days depending on the product, with calendars and photo boxes among the quickest. FedEx is the fastest delivery option at 2 to 3 days, while UPS is the cheapest. Payment options include cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Open Banking and Klarna. If an item arrives and the quality isn't what you expected, Colorland's satisfaction guarantee gives you 100 days to ask for a refund.

What's worth a look

Here are six products to look at, with the starting prices shown on Colorland's UK site.

Calendars are the obvious pick ahead of the new year, and the wall calendar takes one photo per month. If you'd rather keep prints loose, the Memory Box bundles 200 standard prints with a storage box. The ClickPic frames are square panels you can arrange into a gallery wall without drilling, and you can add more later.
