Crocs needs little introduction. The American brand launched its first foam clog in 2002 and has since turned the Classic Clog into one of the most recognisable shoes around. Its official UK site sells the whole range for women, men and kids, from clogs and sandals to lined winter styles, slippers and Crocs at Work shoes, plus Jibbitz charms for decorating them. It's handy for families, as kids' sizes sit alongside adults', and for anyone who wants a specific colour or collaboration that other shops don't stock.

What's worth a look

A mix of everyday favourites, cold-weather picks and a little something for the charm collectors.

The Classic Clog starts at £34.99, with the price varying by colour, and comes in dozens of shades. For autumn and winter, the Classic Lined Clog adds a fuzzy lining for £59.99. The Kids' Classic Clog starts at £27.99, and the newer Classic Ballet gives you a flat in the same Croslite foam. Jibbitz shoe stickers such as the Sporty Shoe Tattoos are £9.99 a pack.

The site also runs licensed collections, with Paddington, LEGO NINJAGO, Super Mario, Pokémon and The Grinch on sale when we looked. These are worth a browse if you're shopping for a child's Christmas present.

If you're between sizes, it's worth checking the size chart on the site before you order, especially for children, whose feet grow quickly. If you'd rather spread the cost, Klarna and Clearpay are both offered at checkout, and there's a Crocs app for iPhone and Android. Online orders can't be returned to Crocs' own shops, so keep the packaging in case you need to post them back. You can return items from two orders in one parcel, as long as you raise a separate return request for each order.
