KITBOX is a UK online shop for people whose training doesn't fit one box: CrossFit-style classes, hybrid fitness races, weightlifting and running all at once. It describes itself as a provider of functional fitness clothing, footwear, supplements and accessories, and the range is built around kit that copes with lifting, jumping and running in the same session.

You'll find cross-training and weightlifting shoes from adidas, TYR, Inov8 and Strike Mvmnt, men's and women's training clothes, lifting belts, straps, knee sleeves and chalk, bags and rucksacks, Dryrobe changing robes and Yeti bottles and coolers. The nutrition section stocks brands such as Blonyx, Cadence and Combat Fuel.

Prices are in pounds, delivery starts at £2.99, and orders placed by 2pm on a weekday usually leave the same day.

What's worth a look

Here are six picks from the footwear and nutrition ranges.

If you're after one shoe for mixed training, the TYR CXT-3 Trainer is £145, and the adidas Dropset 4 Training Shoe is £110. The Inov8 F-LITE MAX was reduced to £91 from £130 when we looked, which makes it the cheapest way into a proper training shoe here.

On the nutrition side, Blonyx Egg White Protein Isolate is £42, made with seven simple ingredients, and a 12-can case of Cadence Core Hydration Drink is £24.99.

The footwear range is where KITBOX stands out from general sports shops. Alongside adidas and TYR there are weightlifting shoes such as the TYR L2 Lifter, which was reduced to £157.50 from £210 when we looked, plus barefoot, court and recovery shoes. If you're kitting out a home gym, the gym gear section has lifting straps, knee sleeves, belts and grips, and some heavier items are sent on pallets, so check the delivery options before you rely on next-day.

The Cadence Core Hydration Drink is a zero-sugar electrolyte drink sold in cases of twelve 330ml cans, in flavours including citrus, cola, melonberry and watermelon mojito. KITBOX also stocks Combat Fuel's range, with a 90-serving multivitamin at £14.99 and vitamin D3 and K2 at £8.99.
