LG UK: OLED TVs, monitors, speakers and laundry, plus member savings

LG is the South Korean electronics maker behind a huge range of home tech, and its UK website sells direct: OLED and QNED TVs, soundbars and speakers, computer monitors and gram laptops, plus fridges, washing machines, tumble dryers and WashTowers. Buying from LG.com suits anyone who wants the full range in one place and the extras that come with an LG account, such as member pricing and the occasional bundle that you won't find elsewhere.

Prices on LG's product pages change often with promotions, so check the page for the current figure before you decide. Many of the bigger offers come as cashback, free accessories or bundle savings rather than a straight price cut.

The headline TV is the 77-inch OLED evo W6, a 'Wallpaper' design that sits almost flush to the wall, with picture and sound sent wirelessly from a separate connection box placed up to 10 metres away. It currently carries £300 cashback. For something more flexible, the StanbyME 2 is a 27-inch screen you can detach and carry around the house, with USB-C and a built-in battery that LG says gives about four hours of playback; the bundle adds a folio cover.

Gamers and creatives have plenty to choose from too. The 39-inch UltraGear evo GX9 is a 5K2K OLED gaming monitor, while the 32-inch UltraFine 6K monitor is aimed at photo and video work. If you just want better sound, the US80TR soundbar comes with rear speakers and Dolby Atmos, and the little xboom Mini is a portable speaker with up to 10 hours of playback.

Current offers

• 5% off your first purchase with the welcome voucher you get when you join as an LG member (valid for 90 days). Members also get an extra 2% membership discount.
• 20% off washer and dryer pairs when you buy the two together, and a separate 15% off when you pair a heat pump tumble dryer with a washing machine.
• Up to £200 off selected products when you pay with PayPal.

LG is also running its Black Friday deals now, including £300 cashback on the OLED W6, up to 15% off selected TVs and up to 50% off selected soundbars with eligible TVs. The full list is on the promotions page.

How to save more

• Join before you buy. The welcome voucher and member discount only apply once you have an account, so set one up first, especially on a big purchase.
• Buy appliances in pairs. If your washing machine and dryer are both getting old, replacing them together through the pairs offer saves more than buying them months apart.
• Check the bundle value. Several offers add free extras, such as a second monitor or a folio cover, so work out whether you would actually use them before choosing a bundle over the standalone product.
