LifeSpan Europe: walking pads, desk bikes and treadmill desks

LifeSpan Europe is the European shop for LifeSpan, a brand built around moving while you work. It's run from the Netherlands by Europe Workplace & Fitness B.V. and delivers across most of the EU and the whole of the UK. If you spend long days at a desk and want to walk or pedal through emails, this is the kind of kit it specialises in: under-desk treadmills, walking pads, desk bikes, standing desks and yoga ball chairs, plus home fitness treadmills and bikes.

One thing to know before you browse: prices are shown in euros. UK orders are shipped from a UK warehouse or from the Netherlands with VAT, import duties and delivery all included, so the total at checkout is the total you pay, apart from any currency conversion fee your card charges. Larger machines may arrive on a pallet and get left at the kerb or on the driveway, so have someone around to help carry them in.

What's worth a look

Here's a mix of desk-friendly kit and home gym equipment from the current range.

The TR1200 Pro GlowUp is LifeSpan's best-known under-desk treadmill, sold with a DT3-BT console and currently €1,249 instead of €1,299. If you'd rather sit, the Ampera under-desk bike turns your pedalling into power for charging a laptop or phone, and it's down to €849 from €999. For something cheaper, the yoga ball office chair is €89.

Home-use machines are covered by LifeSpan's own guarantee: lifetime cover on the frame and motor, five years on parts and two years on labour. The under-desk treadmills arrive fully assembled in the box, so you can plug them in and start walking. For bigger setups there are bundles that pair a treadmill or Ampera bike with an electric or glass standing desk, which saves buying the two separately. If you're kitting out an office, the business section handles bulk orders and companies can reclaim UK VAT. For home gyms, the C3i upright bike is €899 instead of €1,199 and has 21 training programmes, a tablet holder and a free heart rate monitor.
