Maple Parking started in 1992 as a small meet and greet service at Gatwick, run from home. More than 30 years on it's still family-run, from a base at Lowfield Heath near Crawley, and it now parks cars at Gatwick, Heathrow, Birmingham, Luton, Stansted, Southend and Manchester. It suits anyone flying from those airports who wants to skip the long-stay bus, especially families with lots of luggage, business travellers on a tight schedule and anyone who'd rather not walk across a car park late at night.
With meet and greet, you drive to the terminal, hand your keys to a uniformed, insured and DBS-checked driver who photographs the car and notes the mileage, and walk into departures. When you land, your car is brought back to the terminal. Park and ride is the cheaper choice at Stansted, Southend, Gatwick and Manchester, with a free shuttle bus to the terminals.

About Maple ParkingFamily-run since 1992, started at GatwickView at Maple Parking
At Gatwick North, Maple's flight tracking sends your car to the terminal as your return flight lands, backed by what it calls a No Wait Guarantee. At Heathrow it covers terminals 2 to 5, and its Heathrow operation won Best Meet & Greet at the 2019 Independent Airport Parking Awards. Manchester is the newest addition, with a park and ride service and shuttles every 20 minutes.
If your airport isn't on Maple's own list, its search tool can also look for parking at more than 20 other UK airports, and frequent business flyers can read about the business accounts it's planning, with one monthly payment across several bookings.

How to save more
- Book on Maple Parking's own website rather than through an agent: agent bookings don't get the loyalty discount and don't count towards higher tiers.
- Get your dates and times right first. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice before drop-off (and may carry a £10 admin fee), early returns aren't refunded and extra days cost £20 each.
- Compare meet and greet with park and ride where both are offered: if you don't mind the shuttle, park and ride is the cheaper way to park.
