Snüz is a British nursery brand that has concentrated on baby and toddler sleep since 2013. It's best known for the SnuzPod, which it calls the original bedside crib, and you'll also find its products in John Lewis and Mamas and Papas. Buying direct from the Snüz website gets you the whole range in one place, from cribs and cot beds to mattresses, bedding, sleeping bags and toddler sleepsuits.

It suits parents-to-be putting a nursery together and anyone shopping for a baby shower or a new arrival. The furniture is designed to grow with a child, so a SnuzPod crib covers the first months beside your bed, and the SnuzKot cot bed takes over later and converts to a toddler bed. The sleepwear is sorted by TOG rating and age, which makes it easy to pick the right weight for winter.

Orders of £50 or more get free next working day delivery on the UK mainland if you order before 1pm, while big pieces such as the SnuzKot go by free two-person delivery, with the courier arranging a slot within one to two weeks. Smaller orders cost £4.95. Most Snüz products come with a one-year warranty, and some mattresses have two or five years of cover. Snüz also ships to many countries abroad, with duties paid by the customer.

What's worth a look

Six things from the Snüz range, with prices as shown on the website when we checked.

The SnuzPod5 is the flagship: a 3-in-1 crib with a zip-down wall, a lift-off bassinet, a rocking stand and wheels, tested to the bedside crib standard BS EN 1130:2019. If budget or space is tighter, the SnuzPod Studio is a lighter one-piece crib with six height settings. For older babies, the SnuzKot Skandi is made from solid wood and converts to a toddler bed for children up to about four.
