TEFL Fullcircle is a Harrogate-based provider of online TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) courses. Everything is studied online at your own pace, and the range runs from short courses for people who want to teach English over the internet to a 200-hour Level 5 Diploma. It suits anyone planning a teaching job abroad, a gap year with paid work, or a side income tutoring online, as well as people who just want a recognised certificate before they start applying.

What's worth a look

Here are six of its courses and bundles, with the prices shown on the site today.

The 120-Hour Online TEFL Course is the natural starting point. The site says the 120-hour minimum meets the requirements of online teaching platforms such as Preply, Cambly, italki and Lingoda, and it is currently £99.99 against a listed £324.99. If you want a qualification with more weight, the 200-Hour Level 5 TEFL Diploma is awarded by Gatehouse Awards and regulated by Ofqual, sitting at Level 5 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework. The site notes that it is accepted for work visas in countries including China, South Korea, Vietnam and the UAE, and it is £179.99 at the moment.

The bundles fill the gap between the two. The 160-Hour TEYL Bundle adds teaching young learners to the core course, while the 200-Hour TEFL Bundle is the larger package for £149.99. Note that the 120, 160 and 200-hour courses are described as internationally accredited rather than regulated; only the Level 5 Diploma is Ofqual-regulated, and the site's FAQ says so plainly.

If you are only interested in teaching online, the 40-hour Teaching English Online course at £49.99 covers five modules and 37 units, with six months of access. For extra confidence in front of real learners, the Online Teaching Practicum gives you 25 hours of practice. Lesson plan packs for beginner and intermediate learners are also sold separately, with the 25 Beginner Lesson Plans pack at £49.99.

Current offers

• The 120-hour online TEFL course for £99.99.
• The Level 5 TEFL Diploma for £179.99.
• Every main course card on the site shows a reduced price next to a higher crossed-out price, so you can see the saving before you enrol.

How to save more

• Decide which level you need before you buy. If you only plan to teach online, the 120-hour course already meets the minimum the site quotes for the big platforms, so you may not need the Diploma.
• Compare the bundles with the single courses. The 160-hour and 200-hour bundles cost only a little more than the 120-hour course on its own.
• Check what is included. The 40-hour course comes with a free activity and grammar book, 30 days of the Fullcircle Coach AI assistant and job board access, so you don't need to buy those separately.
