About HelloFresh
HelloFresh is a meal kit company founded in Berlin in November 2011 by Dominik Richter, Thomas Griesel and Jessica Nilsson. It began delivering boxes to paying customers in early 2012 and launched in the UK the same year. Its parent company, HelloFresh SE, now runs meal kit businesses in 18 markets.
Customers choose recipes each week from a menu of more than 45, including quick recipes, calorie-smart dishes under 600 calories and vegetarian meals. Each box contains pre-portioned ingredients and step-by-step recipe cards for the chosen number of people, with boxes for one person also available.
HelloFresh is a flexible weekly subscription with no shops. It delivers seven days a week between 8am and 9pm to mainland UK, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey and parts of the Scottish Highlands. You can skip weeks, change your delivery day or cancel up to 11:59pm five days before a delivery. Ingredients arrive chilled with ice packs and insulation, and problems with a box are reported through the 24/7 Delivery Check-in tool.
