About Sports Direct
Sports Direct is a British sports retailer founded by Mike Ashley in 1982, originally in Maidenhead. It now belongs to Frasers Group, which is based in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, and which also owns fascias such as USC, Game and Evans Cycles. Some of these operate inside Sports Direct stores.
It sells sports clothing, trainers, football boots, running shoes and kit for football, running, fitness, swimming, cycling, outdoor activities and racket sports. Alongside the big sportswear brands, the site has an outlet section, a football boot finder, a running shoe finder and gift cards.
Sports Direct has shops across the UK and an online store. Standard delivery costs £4.99, and Click & Collect orders of £100 or more earn a £5 voucher to spend in store.
