Why use Voucher Magpie?
Every ThriftBooks code here comes from ThriftBooks itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. When you shop through our links, ThriftBooks may pay us a commission. It never changes your price. We give 50% of that commission to the charity, club or school you choose, at no extra cost to you.

ThriftBooks is one of the biggest sellers of used books in the United States. It was founded in 2003 by Daryl Butcher and Jason Meyer, is based in Tukwila, near Seattle in Washington state, and has sold more than 165 million books from warehouses around the US. Much of its stock comes from charities and from libraries clearing out excess books, which ThriftBooks sorts and lists with its own software.
The site lists millions of titles, from recent bestsellers and series fiction to out-of-print, rare and collectible books, and most come in several editions and conditions, so the same title can cost very different amounts. It also sells new books, children's books, DVDs and Blu-rays, and e-gift cards, and you can save titles to a wish list and be told when a copy comes in.
ThriftBooks is a US shop, so prices are in US dollars, and its free delivery is for US orders only. It does ship to the UK by International Standard post, taking 10 to 20 business days, with the cost worked out at checkout. Items priced at $99 or more and some new books can't be shipped abroad, and UK import charges may apply. Its free ReadingRewards scheme earns points towards free books.
