Tresorit is an end-to-end encrypted cloud storage and collaboration service. Files are encrypted on your device before upload, so only you and the people you share with hold the keys. It was founded in 2011 to make online collaboration possible without sacrificing data security, and is now part of Swiss Post, under the name Swiss Post Digital, with offices in Switzerland, Germany and Hungary.
The range covers SecureCloud for Businesses, Engage secure data rooms for working with clients and partners, FileSharing with passwords, expiry and access revocation, an eSign add-on, and email encryption for Outlook and Gmail. There is also SecureCloud for Private Use. Business customers get audit logs, remote wipe, single sign-on, custom branding, a choice of EU-only or other data locations, and support for rules such as GDPR, HIPAA and NIS2. Personal plans are Lite (50 GB), Essential (1 TB) and Pro (4 TB).
For UK shoppers, you sign up online and can try any plan free for 14 days with no limits, though payment details are needed up front. Billing is monthly or yearly, with yearly billing advertised at 20% off. Payment is by credit card or PayPal. You can cancel any time in the Admin Center, which drops you to the Basic plan. The pricing pages did not show the actual price amounts or the currency in the text I could read, so check checkout for the final price in your currency, and no money-back guarantee is mentioned.
