Biffi Boutiques is a family-run fashion business from Milan, now in its second generation. Its history page credits founder Rosy Biffi with stocking early collections from designers such as Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garçons, Kenzo and Sacai, and today the family runs boutiques on Corso Genova and Via Sant'Andrea in Milan and on Via Tiraboschi in Bergamo, alongside the online shop at biffi.com.

The online range mixes luxury labels with premium streetwear and trainers: Moncler and Moncler Grenoble, Moon Boot, MM6 Maison Margiela, Givenchy, Bottega Veneta and Tod's sit next to Asics, New Balance, adidas Originals, Salomon, Hoka and Carhartt WIP. It suits shoppers who want designer pieces from an established Italian boutique rather than a marketplace, and anyone hunting for trainers or winter boots that sell out quickly in the UK.

For UK shoppers there's a United Kingdom storefront with prices in pounds. Biffi ships to the UK by DHL Express on a delivery-duty-paid basis, so the price you see includes import duties and taxes and there's nothing extra to pay to the courier. Delivery costs €25, charged in euros, and in-stock orders are dispatched within one to two business days.

What's worth a look

• Check sizes carefully before ordering. Biffi doesn't do exchanges, and while returns are free with its courier, refunds are paid in euros, so the amount back on a UK card can differ slightly from what you paid.
