Getaways Ireland is a hotel break website run by Digibreaks in Dublin. If you used to book through SuperValu Getaway Breaks, this is where that service now lives, and old SuperValu vouchers still work as long as they're within five years of purchase. The site lists Fáilte Ireland-approved 3, 4 and 5-star hotels, from city hotels in Dublin, Cork and Galway to spa and golf hotels in the countryside, plus a good spread in Belfast, Derry and along the Antrim coast.

It suits anyone planning a short break on the island of Ireland, whether that's a night away for two, a family midterm trip or a winter weekend with dinner thrown in. Prices are in euros throughout, including for hotels in Northern Ireland, so bear that in mind if you're comparing with sterling prices elsewhere. Getaways acts as an agent for the hotels, so you book with Getaways and stay with the hotel.

The Glasshouse Hotel in Sligo package is listed as a top seller: two nights at the four-star hotel on the Garavogue River, full Irish breakfast each morning and a main course with a glass of wine on one evening.
