Holiday Suites is a Bruges company renting self-catering apartments and studios on the Belgian coast. It has residences in Nieuwpoort, Westende, De Haan, Blankenberge and Zeebrugge, plus a lakeside site at Jabbeke Klein Strand, about ten minutes from Bruges. The idea is simple: a modern apartment with a full kitchen, its own bathroom and free Wi-Fi, and self check-in with a personal code instead of a reception desk.

It suits families, couples and friends who want their own space by the sea rather than a hotel room, and it's handy for a short break too, as stays start from one night. Prices are in euros, and bed linen and final cleaning are included. Towels, made-up beds and baby kits cost extra.

What's worth a look

Each destination has a different feel, so here's what the six locations offer.

Blankenberge is the pick for sea views: the apartments are on the seafront promenade, close to the town centre, and the train station is within walking distance if you'd rather not drive. Families might prefer Zeebrugge, where the residence has indoor and outdoor pools plus a fitness room and sauna, with Bruges close by for a day out.

Couples are well served in De Haan, a quieter village of Belle Époque villas where the studios are designed for two and there's an outdoor pool. Nieuwpoort has an indoor pool, sauna and hammam and is handy for walkers and cyclists, while Westende is a calmer resort near the beach and the coastal tram. Many suites welcome dogs. The company deliberately skips on-site restaurants and bars, so you'll be cooking in your own kitchen or eating out locally.

Current offers

• Early bird: up to 25% off when you book at least 60 days before arrival, on stays of at least two nights. This one can't be combined with other promotions.
• Length of stay: 15% off from one night, 20% from four nights and 25% from six nights.
• Last minute: 15% off when you book within seven days of arrival, and it can be combined with other current offers.
• Pets for free: up to two dogs stay free on stays between 9 October 2026 and 28 February 2027, booked through Holiday Suites' own channels. Some suites are permanently pet-free, so declare your pets when booking.

How to save more

• Plan ahead where you can: the early-booking discount is the biggest saving, and booking early also gives you the widest choice of suites.
• Think about the flexible booking conditions. On the standard rate, cancelling more than 30 days out still costs 30% of the total, and cancelling within 30 days costs the full amount.
• Pick your location by the facilities you need. Some residences have pools and saunas, while De Haan has no on-site parking, so check the destination page before you book.
