Reverence Hotels is a small Mallorcan hotel group based in Palma, with three properties on the island's south-west coast in Calvià. Reverence Mare Hotel sits right on the Palmanova seafront and Reverence Life Hotel is on the seafront at Santa Ponsa. Both are adults only. Apartamentos Casa Vida, also in Santa Ponsa, is a family-friendly three-star apartment block that's open all year.

The hotels suit couples and groups of friends who want a quiet, adults-only base with pools and a wellness area, while Casa Vida suits families who want a kitchen. Prices are in euros, and room rates on the website are often shown before taxes, so check the total at checkout.

What's worth a look

Here are the three properties, a November deal, a day pass and the loyalty club.

Reverence Mare Hotel has rooms in its Mare and Panoramic buildings, from Comfort Pool View rooms (from €88 before taxes) up to Swim Up rooms with semi-submerged loungers on the balcony and Privilege rooms with access to the Sky Lounge. Reverence Life is a four-building complex. Its Comfort rooms with a window start from €85 before taxes, and it's well connected by public transport to Palma.

At Apartamentos Casa Vida, one-bedroom apartments sleep up to three adults and a child under 12, and two-bedroom apartments sleep five adults and a child, all with a full kitchen and living room.

Both hotels host meetings and events, and Reverence's Sky spaces serve cocktails at sunset in an adults-only setting. The group also sells excursions and transfers around Mallorca, and it supports local causes in Calvià such as the Shambhala Foundation.
