VIVA Shoes is a UK online shop for women's footwear at down-to-earth prices. It's run by Mriah Limited, a Hertfordshire company, and sells only through its own website. The range covers boots, slippers and clogs, sandals and slides, and trainers, and most pairs cost between about £10 and £50. If you want a warm pair of snow boots, some slipper boots for the house or a pair of wellies without spending much, it's worth a look.

The shop is easy to use: every style has a name, such as AMELIA or DAKOTA, most come in several colours, and sizes generally run from UK 3 to UK 10. Delivery is free on all UK orders, and you get 30 days to change your mind, with free returns by Royal Mail.

Boots make up most of the range. You'll find ankle boots, knee-high and thigh-high boots, slipper boots, quilted snow boots and wellies, so there's something for frosty school runs, muddy walks and evenings out. For the rest of the year there are flatform sandals, sliders and water shoes, and the trainers include easy slip-on styles such as the BUBBLE Mary-Jane trainers at £19.99.

Around the house, the ARIA faux fur penny loafer slippers are £34.99 in tan mocha or black.
