Zebra is a putter brand with a long history. Its story starts in 1976, when the original Zebra mallet, with its black and white alignment stripes, was launched and won at Augusta that same year. Zebra Golf (UK) now sells the current range direct from a unit in Redditch, Worcestershire, and posts orders from the West Midlands.

The shop is small and focused: putters, wedges and a few extras such as weight kits and a putter wrench. It suits golfers who struggle to line up putts and like the idea of a strong visual guide on the head, and anyone who remembers the original and fancies the modern version. The 30-day trial means you can try a putter on the course and send it back if it isn't for you.

What's worth a look

These are some of the clubs on the Zebra UK site, with the prices shown when we looked.

The AIT 1 at £99.99 is a modern take on the original mallet. The head is bigger for more forgiveness, the stripes are longer, and it has a multi-material insert and two 15g sole weights you can swap for lighter or heavier ones. It comes in 33, 34 and 35 inch lengths with a headcover. For the most forgiving shape in the range, the AIT 3 at £199.99 is an oversized winged mallet with a ball-shaped hole that works with the stripes to help you aim.

The Milled Series putters are milled from a single block of carbon steel and fitted with a Zebra by Winn grip and a KBS shaft. Over in the wedges, the forged Tour Grind – Raw is Zebra's top wedge, in 52, 56 and 60 degree lofts with a CNC-milled face.

Current offers

We don't have any Zebra Golf codes in our feed yet. The best value on its own site is the trial: you can return new or like-new items within 30 days for a full refund, and Zebra pays the return postage even if you simply don't love it. Some wedges are also listed as stock versions, separate from the built-to-order clubs, at their own prices.

How to save more

  • Stick with the standard shaft and grip if you think you might send a club back. Custom-built clubs, and clubs modified after you buy them, can't be returned.
  • Order before 1pm on a weekday for same-day dispatch, and choose standard delivery (two to three working days) unless you need it next day, which costs extra.
  • Compare the stock and built-to-order wedges before you buy, as they're listed separately.
