Cool Hog is a small snack business from the Black Country, run by Cool Hog Ltd from a unit on the Pinfold Industrial Estate in Walsall. It started out making pork scratchings and, by its own account, added a sweets range in 2023 that quickly grew alongside them.
Scratchings are still the heart of the shop. They come in flavours such as Original, Sweet Chilli and Honey & Mustard, and in several sizes: taster tubs, jars and resealable bags, with mixed packs like the Big 'n' Mix and a Pork Scratching Taster Package of ten tubs for anyone who wants to try a few. The sweets side covers things like rock candy gifting jars, peanut brittle, fudge and mystery cookies, and there is a Bundles & Offers section with gift boxes and themed bundles.
Orders go by Royal Mail. Standard delivery is quoted as a few working days, with a first class option that aims for next-day delivery, and shipping is free on orders of £45 or more. The shop says its scratchings typically keep for four to five months and its sweets for around ten to twelve, which makes the bundles a practical present to post.
