About Faire
Faire is an online wholesale marketplace that connects independent retailers with brands. It is a business-to-business platform rather than a shop for consumers, so it suits boutique owners, gift shops, cafes and other small retailers who want to stock products without negotiating with each brand separately. The site says more than 100,000 brands sell through it, across categories including home decor, food and drink, fashion, beauty, jewellery, paper goods, kids and baby, pets and books. Brands can also sign up to sell.
What stands out is the buyer-friendly terms. Many brands set low or no order minimums, eligible retailers can pay invoices up to 60 days later interest free, and the first order from each brand comes with free returns within 60 days. Faire was founded in 2017 and says it has introduced around 10 million connections between retailers and brands. Joining is free, and you can start shopping while your business details are verified.
For UK retailers the site shows prices in pounds, though Faire Insider, its free-shipping membership, is priced in US dollars. Each brand ships its own orders and sets its own lead time, so delivery speed and cost vary by brand. You can pay by credit or debit card, and eligible buyers can use the 60-day terms. UK retailers return goods through a FedEx depot, and Faire covers return shipping on eligible returns, but not the original shipping or any import fees.
