About inAmber
inAmber lets you write, record or film a message for someone you love and seal it to arrive on a date you choose, up to 25 years ahead. People use it for birthdays, Christmas mornings, weddings and other milestones, and messages for children go first to a parent or guardian. It works in a web browser, including on a phone, so there is no app to install. The service is run by Capitalizt Ltd, a London company registered in December 2025.
You can sign up free with a name and email, without a card, and only pay when you seal a message. A single message costs £9.99. Monthly plans give one message a month for £4.99, two for £7.99, four for £12.99 or five for £14.99, and yearly billing gives two months free. The Year Ahead is a £49 gift of twelve messages, the first arriving on Christmas morning. Unused messages carry over while a plan is live.
You can cancel any time, and anything already sealed is still delivered. Refunds are available within 21 days of your first payment, but a refund ends the plan and deletes what you made, so download anything you want to keep first. inAmber says nobody on its team reads your messages.
