O'Reilly Media is best known for its technical books, and today its website is built around the O'Reilly learning platform. The About page describes a company that has been sharing the knowledge of innovators for over 45 years, founded by Tim O'Reilly, who is still its CEO and chairman. Members get books, courses, videos and audiobooks, early release titles, live expert-led events, interactive labs and sandboxes, certification prep guides and practice tests, plus the O'Reilly AI Academy.
There are three tiers. The Individual plan, which starts with a free trial, was shown at $49 a month, $129 for three months or $499 a year. The Team plan, for two to 25 members, was $499 per member on an annual plan and adds learning insights and user management. Enterprise adds group management and licence reassignment. The site also has dedicated areas for government, higher education and content marketing customers. Android and iOS apps are included for members.
Everything is delivered online, so there is no postage. The pricing page we read showed US dollars, so check the checkout for the currency you will actually be charged. The support centre explains how to cancel a free trial and how to cancel auto-renewal, which is worth reading before you start a trial.
