Why use Voucher Magpie?
Every InformIT deal here comes from InformIT itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. When you shop through our links, InformIT may pay us a commission. It never changes your price. We give 50% of that commission to the charity, club or school you choose, at no extra cost to you.
About InformIT
InformIT is the online home of Pearson's family of technology publishers. It sells books, eBooks, video training, practice tests, software and web editions, drawn from imprints including Addison-Wesley Professional, Cisco Press, Microsoft Press, Adobe Press, Que, Sams, Peachpit, Oracle Press and Pearson IT Certification. Bestsellers on its homepage include titles on C++ and Python.
What stands out is the depth for working technologists. Its editors write for developers, designers, system administrators and hobbyists, and the catalogue covers certification study (Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA-style prep) as well as programming and AI titles. Books are listed with a 20% saving applied automatically, and the Print + eBook Best Value Packs offer the eBook at a much lower price when bought with the print edition. eBooks and videos are also available through the O'Reilly Online Learning subscription.
For UK shoppers, note that InformIT is a US operation. Its help page lists order support by phone on US numbers (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Eastern), plus live chat and email, and FAQ topics on shipping rates, taxes and countries where purchase is not available, so check the delivery options at checkout before ordering print books. Its promotions page advertises free shipping for U.S. orders only. eBooks come as a bundle of PDF and EPUB files you can use across devices, which avoids shipping altogether, and prices are shown in US dollars.
