Why use Voucher Magpie?
Every Preply deal here comes from Preply itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. When you shop through our links, Preply may pay us a commission. It never changes your price. We give 50% of that commission to the charity, club or school you choose, at no extra cost to you.
About Preply
Preply is an online language-learning marketplace that connects learners with one-to-one tutors, and describes itself as a human-led, AI-enabled platform. It was founded in 2012 by Kirill Bigai and Dmytro Voloshyn, with early work in Kyiv, a contact address in Brookline, Massachusetts and hubs in New York, London, Kyiv and Barcelona. It lists over 100,000 tutors, 90+ languages and 120+ subjects including maths and music.
It suits learners who want flexible private lessons, from beginners to professionals, and companies too, as it also runs business language training with a demo booking option. The homepage says you can try another tutor for free if you are not satisfied, and offers a student discount of 15% off the first payment of a monthly lesson subscription for active university students with a university email. High school students do not qualify, and it applies only to monthly subscriptions.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling by default, with a currency menu that also offers euros, dollars and others. The pages I read do not show lesson rates, as they depend on the tutor, so check tutor profiles. There is also a subscription option and a Refer your company route if an employer might pay. The help centre has separate sections for students, tutors and business, with 68 student articles.

How do I contact Preply customer service?
Use the help centre on the Preply website.
Can I use more than one Preply discount code?
Usually not: most stores, including Preply, accept one discount code per order. Automatic deals and sale prices can often be combined with a code, so check the terms on each offer.
Does Preply offer a first-order discount?
We don't have a first-order code for Preply right now. Sign up for alerts and we'll email you if one lands.
Can I use a Preply discount code on sale items?
It depends on the code. Many discount codes exclude items that are already reduced, so open Terms on the code before you use it.
Can I combine the Preply student discount with other offers?
Usually not with another discount code, as most stores take one code per order. Student discount often still applies to sale prices and alongside free-delivery deals, so check the terms of the student offer.
Does Preply have app-only codes?
We don't have an app-only Preply code right now. When one appears it shows here with an App only badge. iOS app (App Store rating of 4.8 quoted on homepage).
Why didn't my Preply code work?
Most codes exclude gift cards and items already reduced, and some need a minimum spend or are for new customers only. Open Terms on the code, or tap "Didn't work?" and we'll recheck it.
Are these Preply codes verified?
Every Preply code here comes from Preply itself: its own daily feed through its official affiliate programme, or its own website. Each offer shows when we last checked it.
Does Voucher Magpie donate to charity?
Yes. When you buy from Preply through our links, Preply pays us a commission, and we give 50% of it to the charity or club you choose. We pay each cause its confirmed commission every quarter (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct), once the shop has confirmed the sale, usually 30 to 90 days after the order.
Does using Voucher Magpie cost more?
No. You pay Preply's normal price, less any discount. Our commission is paid by Preply or its affiliate network, not by you.
