Why use Voucher Magpie?
Every WeinUnion deal here comes from WeinUnion itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. When you shop through our links, WeinUnion may pay us a commission. It never changes your price. We give 50% of that commission to the charity, club or school you choose, at no extra cost to you.
About WeinUnion
WeinUnion is a German online wine shop based in Andernach in the Rhineland. It was set up in early 1998 by Markus Heusel, who built the shop's software in-house, and it describes itself as probably the oldest online wine merchant in Germany. It is still owner-run as a family business, and over the years it has moved from a staircase full of boxes to its own warehouse.
The range is broad: red, white, rosé and sparkling wines from Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Portugal and much further afield, including Georgia, Armenia, South Africa, Chile and the USA. You can browse by grape, by country or by the food you want to pair it with, and there's a small deli section and a "Restekiste" of end-of-line bottles. The site is in German and prices are shown in euros including German VAT.
The key point for UK shoppers is delivery. WeinUnion delivers within Germany for a flat €6 (free from €75) and to a handful of nearby EU countries for a per-case charge, but its shipping page says plainly that it has not been able to send orders to the UK since 1 January 2021. It is only useful if you have an address in Germany or one of the EU countries it serves.
WeinUnion delivery and returns
| Delivery | Within Germany €6 flat, free from €75; Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark and Austria €26.90 and France and Italy €29.90 per case of up to 12 bottles. WeinUnion says it has not shipped to the UK since 1 January 2021. |

Does Voucher Magpie donate to charity?
Yes. When you buy from WeinUnion through our links, WeinUnion pays us a commission, and we give 50% of it to the charity or club you choose. We pay each cause its confirmed commission every quarter (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct), once the shop has confirmed the sale, usually 30 to 90 days after the order.
Does using Voucher Magpie cost more?
No. You pay WeinUnion's normal price, less any discount. Our commission is paid by WeinUnion or its affiliate network, not by you.
