Good to know
Does it cost me anything?
No. You pay the shop's normal price, or less if there's a discount code. The donation comes out of the commission the shop pays us, not your pocket.
I've never used voucher codes. Do I have to?
No. Plenty of shops have no code at all, and that's fine: clicking through from Voucher Magpie is what counts. When there is a code, we copy it for you and you paste it in the "discount code" box at the shop's checkout.
How much goes to Mind?
50% of what the shop pays us. Shops usually pay 2% to 10% of what you spend, so a £100 order typically earns £2 to £10, and 50% of that goes to the fundraiser's JustGiving page for Mind. It adds up when lots of people do it.
When does the money reach the JustGiving page?
We pay each cause its confirmed commission every quarter (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct), once the shop has confirmed the sale, usually 30 to 90 days after the order. We donate it on the fundraiser's JustGiving page, so it adds to the page's total and goes to Mind, never to the fundraiser personally. If the page has closed by then, we give it to Mind directly.
Is this instead of donating on JustGiving?
No, it's on top. Your shopping raises money without costing you anything, and you can still sponsor them yourself on their JustGiving page (opens in a new tab).

Who runs Voucher Magpie?
Digital Gnome Ltd, a small business in Wales. More about us, and how we make money.
Voucher Magpie is run by Digital Gnome Ltd. We donate 50% of the commission we receive on purchases made through our links to the JustGiving page of the fundraiser the shopper selected, after the store has confirmed the sale, so it goes to Mind. We pay each cause its confirmed commission every quarter (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct), once the shop has confirmed the sale, usually 30 to 90 days after the order. Added by Oliver from their JustGiving page. Mind is not a partner of Voucher Magpie.
